The majestic foothills of the Appalachian Mountains provide a magnificent backdrop for the City of Natural Beauty.   Once there, you'll find the Coosa River winding through the city offering excellent fishing, swimming, canoeing and kayaking. Mountain bike and running trails also hug the Coosa River offering an outdoor atmosphere only offered in Wetumpka.

Wetumpka's natural assets are captured throughout the area. Boating down the Coosa River showcases
the natural habitat which draws thousands of visitors yearly.
