About the event
The Wetumpka Impact Crater Commission invites you to the AL Crater Week Reception, an evening celebrating the dedication of Neathery Creek in honor of Tony Neathery and the continued momentum surrounding the Wetumpka Impact Crater.
While recognizing this meaningful milestone, the reception will also highlight the Commission’s broader goals, ongoing initiatives, and long-range vision to expand education, tourism, and scientific awareness.
A brief presentation will begin at 5:00 PM, and the evening will include special recognition of past board members and partners whose leadership, advocacy, and support have helped bring the Wetumpka Impact Crater to regional and national attention.
Light refreshments and hors d’oeuvres will be provided.
