About the event
Experience the Wetumpka Impact Crater on foot during our Guided Crater Hike. This guided outing will include interpretive stops along the route, offering a closer look at the crater landscape and the geology that makes Wetumpka one of Alabama’s most extraordinary natural landmarks.
We are currently finalizing logistics, including the route, start time, meeting location, difficulty level, and capacity. Because space will be limited, this hike will be ticketed once details are confirmed.
What to Expect (Preliminary):
Outdoor hike with some walking on uneven ground
Closed-toe shoes recommended
Bring water and dress for the weather
